Introducing PRCA Steer Wrestler and Riding Warehouse sponsored athlete, Bear Pascoe. Bear grew up on his family’s ranch in California and had aspirations both on the field and in the arena. As a child, Bear dreamt of playing football professionally and he set out to do just that and more.

Bear played quarterback in high school and in 2009 was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers. A few years later, Bear moved on to play for the New York Giants. In 2012, the Giants would advance to play and defeat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI. Bear Pascoe was a Super Bowl champion.

A few years after, Bear retired from his football career and found himself back ranching in California with his wife, Katie. Today, Bear competes in steer wrestling and is currently aiming to qualify for the circuit finals. We sat down with Bear as he discussed the mental game of competing. He broke down his experience building mental toughness both on the field and in the arena.
